SOLUCIR to join the WOLLs Network Annual Event at Water Innovation Europe 2026

The SOLUCIR project will participate in the WOLLs Network Annual Event – “Water-Oriented Living Labs for systemic impact”, taking place on 14 October 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00, at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, alongside Water Innovation Europe 2026.
The event will bring together more than 30 recognised Water-Oriented Living Labs (WOLLs), policymakers, researchers, water utilities, industry representatives and other stakeholders to explore how Living Labs can accelerate the deployment of innovative water solutions and generate tangible benefits within their territories.
As part of the programme, SOLUCIR will contribute to the panel discussion “Water Security: securing Europe’s water future,” taking place from 16:10 to 16:40. The session will focus on how Water-Oriented Living Labs and innovative projects can help safeguard water availability and quality while accelerating the deployment of solutions that strengthen long-term water security.
Together with representatives from Living Labs, policymakers, water utilities, research and innovation organisations and industry, SOLUCIR will contribute to the discussion on how innovation can support water security through large-scale deployment, integrated governance and long-term implementation.
The participation provides an opportunity for SOLUCIR to connect its work with the wider European conversation on translating research and innovation into solutions capable of addressing current and emerging water challenges.
Organised within the framework of the Water4All WOLLs Network, the Annual Event will structure its discussions around three interconnected priorities: Water Resilience, Water Sustainability and Water Security. Through dedicated panels, participants will exchange concrete experiences, compare approaches and identify opportunities for collaboration and replication across different territories.
The programme will also include strategic reflections on the role of Water-Oriented Living Labs in the European water innovation landscape and their contribution to the implementation of the European Water Resilience Strategy. Participants will discover the latest evolution of the Water4All WOLLs Atlas and discuss the support and financing needed to sustain Living Labs and scale successful solutions.
The WOLLs Network Annual Event will be held alongside Water Innovation Europe 2026, taking place in Dublin on 13–14 October and bringing together stakeholders from across the European water sector to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration and advance the transition towards a more water-resilient Europe.
