What’s SOLUCIR about?

As urban populations swell and climate change reshapes our environment, traditional centralised water systems are struggling to keep up. SOLUCIR is an EU-funded project dedicated to accelerating the transition toward circular and decentralised water and wastewater solutions.

Pathfinding Studies (PFSs) are forward-looking, case-specific studies developed within SOLUCIR to support the large-scale adoption of circular and decentralised water solutions. Based on insights from the Inspirational Pilots, they are conducted in five EU regions and one transferability case, working with local utilities and stakeholders to design scalable strategies that integrate decentralised solutions into existing water systems.
