Inspirational Pilots
SCALE refers to the physical or territorial level at which the solution is implemented
- B – Building: a single building or facility.
- D – District/Neighbourhood: a district or neighbourhood.
- U – Urban: city or municipal scale.
- R – Regional: regional scale, including rural areas.
TRL stands for Technology Readiness Level. It indicates the maturity of a technology and is measured on a scale from 1 to 9
- TRL 1–3: early research and proof of concept.
- TRL 4–5: technology validated in the laboratory or in a relevant environment.
- TRL 6: prototype demonstrated in a relevant environment.
- TRL 7: prototype demonstrated under real operational conditions.
- TRL 8: complete and qualified system.
- TRL 9: technology fully proven and operational in real conditions.
